Ruby was stuck in wolf form for so long that she was out of practice actually interacting with people and having conversations. So she mostly hung back and listened instead of contributing herself once a decent sized group of them gathered and discussed their options for a temporary shelter. There seemed to be an interesting mix of volunteers, some with practical skills that would come in handy and some who were no doubt selected for their breeding potential.
It surprised her when she caught the scent of other werewolves. She assumed they also picked up on her scent, but so far, none of them had identified themselves. She would worry about any potential issues there later. When she woke, the sun was up and she decided to explore the lush forest a bit more in depth, shifting into wolf form so she could better track and use her enhanced senses.
There were plenty of animals and hunting would be no problem for her. They would need to come up with some way to prepare and preserve any meat that she managed to provide though, so rather than going after any large prey, she satisfied her own hunger with a rabbit and then shifted back to human form and headed to the waterfall.
She paused when she spotted a beautiful woman sitting at the edge of the water, but forced herself to go over, reminding herself that she had been a friendly, outgoing person in Storybrooke and in the Enchanted Forest. Her forced time as a wolf didn't change any of that.
"Morning," she said, sitting down next to the blonde. "I'm Ruby. You're... Sara, right?"
