"Not the whole way," Cam replied, shaking his head. "I had to find the stream, first. I think the stream probably connects to the waterfall, but I had to walk a ways to get to a point where I could move uphill without having to try to climb." He shrugged. "And then I just kind of kept doing it because I was in the habit of it, I guess. Like I said to Sara...I'm not so good at this stuff."
As they walked, Cam decided leaving the stones there was easier than trying to pick them up, so he ignored them, moving around them, off to the side of the trail. "I think it's probably pushed back far enough from the clearing that it's not so bad. It's a little loud, but not like...roaring or anything. I didn't think of that, though...I'll let you be the judge when we get back. You'd probably know better than I would, from the sounds of it."
