WHO: Finnick and Briseis WHAT: A chat WHEN: Saturday afternoon WHERE: Bri's shelter WARNINGS: None yet, will update STATUS: Closed, Complete
Finnick hadn't talked to Briseis much in the past few weeks, which was strange when you stopped to think about it, because now they had more in common than ever. They were going to be having babies only a day or two apart. Finnick was almost as happy about Briseis as he was about him and Chloe. He knew how much she wanted a baby, and was thrilled that it was actually happening for her here. He'd meant to tell her that before now, but with the shortened pregnancies here time was getting away from him. Even though the babies had been conceived just over a month ago, they would be here before he knew it.
Another thing he wanted to talk to her about was sewing. Bri was good at it, and Finnick knew that he and Chloe needed to start making some baby clothes soon. He knew that she was probably busy making her own, but maybe she could help teach them. The weather was so warm here that the figured the baby wouldn't need that much clothing. When it was very small it would probably only need diapers and swaddling blankets, but it would need lots and lots of them. They seemed like they would be simple to make, but the edges needed to be hemmed at least. It would probably need some baby t-shirts too for those times when it wasn't swaddled.
After he finished work for the day he took a bath in the lake as usual, then dried off and walked across camp to the shelter that Bri shared with Scott, hoping to find her there.
