"In all seriousness, though, you make a good point. Whoever the babydaddy is? Needs to damn well appreciate me for me. I mean, sure. We'd likely be giving the baby to Arva, but you still have to like the other person first." Because really, why on earth would you want to have a child with someone you didn't like? That wasn't how having children here even worked in the first place.
"Not that I'm ready to be having a child yet, so it's pretty much all moot right now," she said with a shrug. "I kind of look forward to it, though. Which... would probably amuse the hell out of anyone who actually knew me. Because they'd be the first ones to tell you I wasn't mother material back home. It's a little different here, though."
