Barry was pretty much used to that kind of reaction. It was even getting easier to reveal his secret now. Part of him wished that Patty was still around to see him living openly as The Flash, but part of him was glad she wasn't there to be hurt by the fact that he was doing it now but couldn't with her back in Central City.
"It's okay," he assured Christine. "A lot of people are curious. I don't mind. Especially people who have an interest in science. Back home, I work as a forensic analyst for the Central City Police Department."
His abilities were very useful in any number of ways.
