That was a smart idea, building something between the two shelters. It meant they could all keep a watch on the animals, and that the animals, in turn, could be a good indicator if something weird was happening outside. Steve nodded thoughtfully, squinting out at the place in question.
Bucky's laugh was distracting, but not in a bad way -- just in the sort of way that made Steve pause to watch it, smiling a little smile for himself while they were at it. "We'll make sure your unmentionables are safe," he reassured. "And I think we could... work with notches in the wood as opposed to a ton of nails." He didn't want to take up resources that would be better served building homes, after all. "So long as they're deep enough to be sturdy, it shouldn't be a problem, no matter how rambunctious half baby goats get." He wondered, idly, if Abby planned on naming them, too.
