"Oh good. Well let's wait until you're properly armed then we can go hunting." That was good to hear that she'd already served most of her 'time' waiting for her weapons to become weapons again. It was so much easier when you had your own tools at your disposal for that sort of thing.
"That sounds awful. That you could be 'infected' and have no choice about becoming a monster." He shuddered thinking about it, anything where free choice was removed horrified him now in a whole different way. He nodded to her hesitation to accept that it was safe here. It was a good survival instinct not to trust that without extensive evidence.
"I can understand. I slept up high in a tree with my arm locked when I didn't have someone to watch." He understood her predicament. Thinking a moment, he wondered how he could help. Steve and he were too paranoid to have someone else here with them, but well. "I think the shelter nearest us is empty, if you want to move in there, we could keep watch over your place too from our place here. At least you'd know someone was keeping watch very close by?"
