Simon joined her on the blanket, stretching his legs out in front of him. "Of course," he replied. "Just don't eat too little, that is never good for the body," he added concerned having no idea just how close he was to the truth. While it was fine to ration food he didn't want anyone to starve themselves. That was both concern for them but also his medical history speaking. It was so much of a part of him for over a decade that he sometimes found it hard to let it go.
He shrugged before letting the topic drop.
"Is there something you would like?" he asked indicating the food while grabbing out a couple of plates and cups for them to drink out of. The atmosphere was relaxed but Simon could feel himself getting slightly wound up due to nerves but he pushed them to the side as best as he could. He was determined to try to enjoy himself as much as possible. The area where they had ended up looked completely untouched and he wondered if others had found it. A part of him hoped not even if it was unlikely.
Pushing himself up slightly he dipped a cup into the river to fill it with water. "Want some?" he asked her.
