Dating wasn't one of Barry Allen's best skills. Dating on a tropical island with limited resources was even more of a challenge, but he seemed to be doing okay with it if Martha's smiles were any indication. He genuinely enjoyed spending time with her and found it endearing that she wanted to date and get to know him on a more personal level rather than just jumping into a physical relationship. Sure, the concept of 'Sex Island' was appealing, but the reality was not as fascinating as he would have expected. At least not for him.
He was sure that if Cisco was still here, his best friend would be mocking him for going skinny dipping with a beautiful woman — for the second time, though Barry would argue that it didn't count with Patty because of their history — without managing to close the deal. As much as he missed his friend already, Barry was okay without the mocking. Martha was a brilliant woman and worth getting to know, even if they just ended up being friends.
"Oh, is that so?" he asked, watching with amusement as she made herself comfortable on his bed while he kicked off his shoes and stripped down to a pair of boxers for sleeping. He went to sit next to her, raising his eyebrows. "And how do you propose we accomplish that?"
He was kind of hoping for some making out, but he wanted it to be her idea, so he didn't make the suggestion.
