Nick was slightly amused by her reaction, if only because she had a very expressive face. Obviously, she was right. An average wolf probably would have been scared off already, and Nick most definitely wasn't. And to convey that he gave a wolfish bark, as if agreeing with her.
After he'd done that, Nick wanted to be sure the message was clear. So to the ground he went, rolling over onto his back playfully for a moment. Nick was not the most dignified of creatures....well, some of the time. He was just comfortable enough with himself that he didn't have a great deal of shame over certain actions, this being one of them.
Figuring that the message had gotten through, the wolf rolled back to his feet and then dashed off into the trees. Interacting with beautiful women was always much easier as a human. It took a few moments after he bounded far enough away, but after his bones broke and the tall human male was back, Nick took some deep breaths and then stepped back out, announcing himself in hopes that she realized it was safe. "Sorry if I scared you. I swear, I'm a friendly wolf, and no bloodshed. Scout's honor!" Nick walked out into the open, naked as the day he'd been born, and remaining confident about it all...even if still somewhat sore from the chance back.
