Larissa knew that she would be just fine after she had arrived. She knew that she would be able to find her way to the group, she knew that she would be able to have a shelter, and she knew that she probably wouldn't have to really lift a finger to make any of that happen. She wasn't blind, she knew that she was an attractive woman, and in a place like Sex Island there was no doubt that there would be more than a few viable men eager to prove themselves to her in hopes of getting something a little more than a simple 'thank you'.
That being said, it didn't mean that Larissa didn't appreciate their hard work, and truth be told she was more than willing to give them more than just a 'thank you' as long as they weren't particularly horrible people. She knew that there was a lot of work put into helping her here, and Sam was doing more than enough to deserve her gratitude. He was building her a tiny brick home, for goodness sake. She knew that he would be working on the medical facility that day, because that's what Sam did, so Larissa had gone to the site and grabbed one of the empty canteens left behind by one of the workers to fill it with fresh water and bring it to him.
"You're a saint," she praised with a pretty smile, moving beside him and kneeling in the sand before passing the filled canteen his way. "I found this by the work site, just be sure to leave it there when you go to start building. I didn't think anyone would mind if you borrowed it. I filled it for you." She spoke in a heavy accent but her English was fluent and proper, something that she had obviously been studying from a young age. "Let me help you, I feel awful having you do this all by yourself. Just tell me what to do."
