Their camp was growing more each day, and every so often Martha liked taking a step back from it all to look it over. Almost like a surveyor in a new land, she made a mental note of where everything was situated and where people were in relation to one another. She spotted in the distance one of the newer fellows working on his shelter, and being in a generous mood (as she often was) Martha headed over to offer up some help.
"Hello there," she said with a hand raised. She dropped it quickly, and then hooked her thumbs into the loops on her jean shorts. "I'm Martha Jones. One of the resident doctors here," she said as she took a few more steps toward the stranger. "Thought I'd come by, say hello, see if I can help you with anything." His shelter looked pretty sturdy already, a lot better than what she had started with. She still needed to fix hers up, but with the rain finally stopping she didn't have a rush to do so.
