Four days of nonstop rain had most of the people on the island feeling out of sorts and on edge. At least the main camp area stayed dry the past few days so that they could begin building the medical center, but Sydney was glad she suggested another bonfire for this evening, figuring that everyone could use an opportunity to relax and socialize. Maybe by fostering the sense of community even more, they would appease the gods and finally get the sunshine back.

There was plenty of food available for everyone and the fire was blazing for both light and warmth. Off to one side, the finished boards were set up for Cam's bean bag toss game. They really did need to figure out some additional leisure activities they could partake in here without equipment. It was too bad they didn't have a radio.

Johanna didn't give two shits about damp ground. She was more interested in Barry, thank you. And her response to his question? Was to lean over and kiss him, one hand coming up to cup his neck.

Because really? Did that question even need actual stupid words in the first place? No, no it really kind of didn't. All it needed was the two of them and Johanna making the first real move.

This was nice, Johanna decided as she deepened the kiss a little. But the good kind of nice, the kind of nice that meant you wouldn't mind if it went somewhere or you'd be happy if it just stayed where it was. Not the kind of nice where it was like oh hey no chemistry boo.

Nooo, not overstepping at all. Johanna just grinned against his lips and shivered at his touch. She nipped at his lower lip playfully, just a tiny bit, urging him to keep going -- it'd been a while since she'd just done this much with a guy. Or this little, however you wanted to look at it. Because usually her encounters leaned towards sex and not so much making out.

	Kissing, at least, was something Barry felt fairly confident with. He didn't have a lot of experience when it came t sex, but he was hardly a virgin either and he liked to think he was pretty good at picking up on cues. She wasn't wearing a bra and he couldn't help but run his finger along one of her bare breasts, drinking in the sight of her. There were scars marring her skin, but they somehow made her more beautiful because they proved that she was a survivor and that was an attractive quality as far as Barry was concerned.

He decided to go ahead and remove his own shirt as well and, as soon as it joined hers on the ground, he pulled her close, reveling in the feel of her breasts pressed against his bare skin. It seemed like Johanna was all in for this encounter, so he bent his head to nibble at her neck.

She was definitely all in. How could she not be? She'd called him adorable, but really? He was kind of more than that. She'd find words for it some other time, though. At the moment, she was concentrating on other things.

Barry moaned again when he felt Johanna's hand stroking him and he certainly wasn't going to argue with removing all of their clothes and going all the way, even though they were outside and there were people all over the place. The idea of getting caught was a surprising turn on. For someone who preferred to avoid the spotlight, Barry wasn't sure why he found the idea of semi-public sex so fascinating.

That was something to think about another time. Right now, he needed to get both of them out of their clothes. "That sounds like an excellent plan," he agreed, moving his hands down to her waist so he could remove her pants. Once hers were off, he knelt up so he could pull his own off.
