Chris & Lynne
It was dark by the time she'd arrived and she had to admit that she was more than a little bummed that the sun wasn't shining brightly in they sky when she showed up. With that said, though, at least the moon was hung full in the sky and the light that it gave off made it a little less terrifying an endeavor to try to figure out where she was going. It hadn't really occurred to her to ask on the network because she worried people would be sleeping by this hour, so it was a relief when the god who called himself Azibo offered to guide her inland until she could find her own way.
The walk from the beach hadn't been that long, but the path was worn and it seemed like right around the time she seemed to realize that, she looked up and he was gone.
She could hear the crackling of a campfire and the cacophony of voices which brought a smile to her face. Yeah, okay...she was nervous about this place, but how much worse could it possibly be than being a useless lump and hauling herself out of bed every morning to live the exact same monotonous day over and over and over again with no purpose or meaning? It had to be better here. The god who'd spoken in her vision had promised it and Lynne had high hopes.
Some people were off in little groups and others were paired into conversations, but the first person she saw alone when she wandered into camp was the one she approached. "Um...is this..." she started both awkwardly and apologetically for having interrupted his meal, she realized belatedly, as she came closer "...is this the main camp for the project? The...Arva's project?"
