Kitty, like everyone else, was extremely happy about the gifts from the god(s). Having building supplies around was only going to help them get that medical facility up even faster, and to further build their little community up. That was their entire purpose here, after all. Kitty wasn't an expert, by any means, in any of the things that went into building, but she planned on throwing herself into the group to help. It was the least she could do.
She'd shared, and she was doing her damnedest to open up, but she knew that she needed to do more. That was probably the reason that she hadn't been gifted with anything, unlike others. She knew that it had to be because she needed to be doing more.
Kitty made it pretty much a habit to get out and away from camp of an evening, and even of a morning. She took runs, or walks, depending on her mood. And there was also the fact that she was doing her best not to just completely forget other forms of exercise, not that it would be possible for her to forget how to fight...ever. Kitty was strolling at the moment, so when she heard something, her head turned automatically, seeing the tall guy from the bonfire. He easily towers over her as he manages to catch up, looking up at him. "That's me, yeah. Hi, Barry, it's nice to officially meet you." Kitty managed a smile.
This counted as trying, even if she hadn't made the first move. Plus, Barry was cute, and she remembered him from the bonfire too. "Guess I'm not the only one that wanted to take a walk on the beach, huh?"
