She had entirely forgotten the bear thing by now. Maria wasn't one to hold a grudge for something like that. Shoot a friend of hers and you might want to keep one eye open when you sleep, but something like that? Whatever.
"Yes," she answered as she half crouched and half bent to attend to her shin. "Maria Hill." She straightened then lifted the leg to see if the bleeding was stopping. It was only a scrape but across the thin area over the shin you might as well have cut your scalp. She grimaced to see it still oozing then put her leg down.
"Didn't mean to intrude," she said. "You looked pretty lost in thought. Soon as I get this taken care of I'll leave you alone."
