There was a certain comfort that came from being physically close to another person, in Cam's opinion, whether or not it was sexual in nature. In this context, it wasn't, and that was just fine. But he got the feeling that "you don't have to" was about as close as he was going to get to a yes or no answer and the smile or discomfort he could see on her face was going to be the context he'd get and that was it. She smiled, but then she tacked on that it was kind of nice and Cam took that as an invitation.
Shifting closer to her, Cam stretched an arm under the pillow Sydney was laying on so that he didn't have to keep it between them at his side; it was more uncomfortable there.
"No?" he asked. "I have, but only a couple of times," he admitted. "Back in college." Most of the time, when there was a woman in his bed, it was because they were sleeping together. Not actually sleeping. "It's not so bad, though, right?"
