A moment later, he had returned and was probably more relieved than he should've been that Sydney had decided, indeed, to stay in bed. A small smile slid over his face as he climbed back onto the bed. It wasn't like there was a whole lot of other space left in the shelter with the bed in there. Cam had said to someone, maybe Sara, even...that he'd thought that the shelter actually got a little bit bigger overnight to accommodate it.
Once he was beside her, Cam flopped heavily down onto the mattress, loving the way that his body sort of sunk into it. "You want me to roll over?" he offered, wanting to make sure that he was giving her as much personal space as he could if she wanted it. The last thing he wanted was for Sydney to think that he wasn't the guy he portrayed himself to be.
