Lydia took a deep breath and held it for a few seconds before it came out again in a soft sigh. "I'm sorry I ruined yours," she replied with the same amount of sincerity. She was sorry for a lot of things, not the least of which was hurting Finnick's feelings, because if she hadn't already, from the sounds of the conversation and the way it made her feel, she was sure it was only a matter of time.
With that, she took a step back, a subtle way to let him know that she wanted to go. Lydia needed to be alone.
