"Yeah," Cam agreed with a little smirk, "that sounds about right." He would've been pissed off, too, if he worked himself up trying to accomplish something and failing repeatedly which, he had to admit, was one thing he was pretty confident would happen if he tried basket weaving with his current knowledge on the subject...which was to say, none.
Cam waited until she'd gathered up the mangoes and then he nodded when she suggested that they take their time so that she would be able to keep hold of the ones she had. That was an easy enough request. "I think if you drop one it'll be okay. I just would've felt bad leaving like six of them there," he admitted as he started to slowly lead the way back to camp, the makeshift t-shirt sack slung over one of his shoulders.
"I...was in law school, actually," he answered, looking down at her — everyone here was so short, he decided — "I was going to take the bar exam before I came, but there was only like two days between the vision I got and my actual arrival so I guess I'm taking it when I get home," he laughed. "I want to be a defense attorney, I think. For now, at least. What about you?"
