Malia was pregnant. She almost couldn't believe it. It was terrifying as well as being crazy exciting, but the excitement was winning right now because she knew she wasn't going to have to worry about raising it and having to actually give birth to it for a while. She wasn't sure how she felt, though, about Stiles coming over. She knew that he was the father of Lydia's baby, and she didn't really know him well at all. But apparently they'd been a thing in his world. They'd actually dated. She found that incredibly hard to believe but maybe she'd find out why tonight. She wanted to try as many guys as she could because there was so much she needed to learn. And Stiles was safe. He was human, and she could kill him in a minute if he got out of line.

Not that she would.

She was sitting in her coyote den, trying to figure out how to make something useful out of the scraps of dead animal and bones she had laying around when her ears perked at the sound of someone approaching.

Stiles.

She poked her head out of the cave and smiled, waving him over.

"Hey, over here!"

Stiles was pretty sure this was a bad idea. It wasn't like he and Malia were together together back home, at least not when he was from, though apparently they were a thing when Lydia was from. Given how indifferent she had been to him so far here, he wasn't entirely sure how they ended up together, but he wanted to at least make an effort to be her friend, so he agreed to go out to her little cave.

"Hey," he said, giving a cautious smile when he spotted her leaning out of one of the caves. "It's good to see you. You look happy." Happier than he had ever seen her, to be honest, which probably didn't say much for his sexual prowess.

"I am happy," she said. "I like it here. A lot." Maybe she was glowing from her pregnancy, but it seemed a bit quick for that. She moved out of the doorway and gave Stiles a small wave, wanting him to come on inside.

Then she sat cross-legged on the floor.

"So...we had sex?" She looked more curious, than anything. "How?"

"Well, your dad kind of sent you to Eichen House for a while," Stiles said. "And I checked myself in because I thought I was going crazy." He wasn't even going to try to explain the Nogitsune stuff. That was something he didn't want to think about, let alone talk about.

He glanced down and then looked up again. "I kind of... walked in on you in the shower. In my defense, you were in the boys locker room because the water was hotter. Anyway, we got friendly and then... you decided you wanted to know what kissing was like." And then more happened.

Actually, most of the story made sense to her. And actually...

"Can you show me what kissing's like now?" Because sure, she'd slept with Scott and Isaac, but that had been sex. Not kissing.

"Yeah, sure," Stiles said. It wasn't like he still didn't think she was hot. Knowing that she had been with Isaac and Scott made him hesitate for a moment, but he leaned forward and brushed his lips against hers.

Malia return kiss was gentle, soft, and very, very tentative. She liked it, but she hadn't done this before, and she wasn't quite sure what to do. Her cheeks flushed a little, and her bright eyes looking up at him with her normal, openness, but also a certain vulnerability.

"Again?"

Stiles had a weird feeling of deja vu, remembering their time spent together in the basement of Eichen House. This time when he leaned in, his kiss was a little firmer and after a few moments, he slid his tongue into her mouth.

It wasn't taking Malia very long at all to realize that she liked kissing. A lot. She pressed herself against him, flattening her breasts against her his chest, gasping a little as his tongue went into her mouth. She tangled hers with it, grabbing him to pull him closer.

She was surprised at the intensity of what she was feeling right now, but she liked it. A lot.

Stiles wrapped his arms around Malia, more than happy to keep her close as they kissed. He honestly wasn't sure if he was ready to sleep with her, instinctively knowing that it would mean something more than sleeping with Darcy, or even Lydia, had. But kissing was cool.

Malia wasn't sure how long she kissed him. She didn't even care. Time no longer seemed to matter. If felt so good; he felt so good, and she just let her mind float away to wherever happy places the kissing took her.

She pulled back after a moment, her lips swollen and her hair a bit mussed, just in time to take off her shirt and throw it to the floor. She left her bra on, though, and leaned in to kiss him again, this time tiny quick kisses that were almost frantically hungry - but more for just the affection she was starved for than anything else.

"Woah, hey, slow down," Stiles said when she pulled her shirt off. Not that he had an issue with her being shirtless, but he didn't want to rush into things. Which might seem silly, given where they were, but Stiles knew he didn't always make sense.

He pulled her close again, running his hand over her back.

"I just want to be touched," she said, and the plaintive note in her voice somehow managed to convey her loneliness and need for affection perfectly. Because what Malia knew best in this world was loneliness.

She pushed herself back against him her lips funding his again. And even though there was hunger and passion, a strange innocence and vulnerability were there too.

Stiles could understand that. He knew that she had been alone for so long without any sort of human contact and couldn't blame her for being desperate for any sort of affection.

"I know," he said softly, reaching up to brush his hand through her hair. "But we can just kiss and cuddle and touch without getting naked and having sex."

A look of hurt crossed Malia's face. He didn't want her. He was being kinder than Finnick had been, but it amounted to the same thing. Something was wrong with her. He didn't want her.

She looked away, then sat up suddenly.

"What did I do wrong?"

"Hey, no, you didn't do anything wrong," Stiles assured her, reaching out to pull her back to him. "You can be close to people without having sex though. I'd like to show you that."

He wasn't saying he would never have sex with her, but for tonight, he just wanted to hang out.

She let him, albeit a little reluctantly, because being touched at all, in any way, was better than not being touched at all. But she let her eyes keep their focus across the room, away from him. Nor did she move his hands where she might have wanted them. She just lay there, in silence, cuddled up to him.

Despite what he said, she knew she'd done something wrong. She'd thought she'd gotten this sex thing down, but obviously she didn't. She didn't know anything. About anything. And that made her scared of all of this.

"Talk to me," Stiles said softly. He could tell that she was tense and he was pretty sure that she didn't believe him when he said she didn't do anything wrong. It was hard trying to teach her how to be human. Maybe he should ask Lydia how they managed to do it back home. "What are you thinking?"

"That I did something wrong. That there's something wrong with me. I was liking kissing you and I felt something really really nice and I wanted more but you said no so I must have been wrong or you didn't feel it too or maybe I just don't know anything at all. Maybe next to Lydia I'm just ugly and gross and uncultured to you."

She hadn't meant to say all that, and she didn't feel better now that it was out.

"Malia, you're beautiful," he said. "And I like kissing you too. But you don't always have to have sex with someone just because you like kissing them."

Stiles really didn't know how to explain to her that sex generally wasn't such an open and freely talked about thing. This place was different and he wanted her to understand.

"This place, it's not like home. Things are a lot different here. And not necessarily in a bad way, but I don't want you to think that you have to sleep with everyone you meet or like."

"I...don't know what else to do," she said, her shoulders sagging. Sex had been the only way she'd discovered to make connections with people, and if there was another way, she didn't know what it was.

Malia was silent for a while, trying to make sense of what he said. It was hard to understand. How could just talking lead anywhere? I mean, she talked to Lydia and lots of people but she wasn't going to have sex with them.

She was confused and she closed her eyes tightly.

"Do you want to have sex with me?" The answer to that question was important to her.

She didn't bother putting her shirt back on, and net his lips as he kissed her. After a moment, she raised her hand to run through his dark hair, which she'd called stupid but felt warm and soft under her fingers. She lost herself, just kiss after kiss warming her up like not even sex ever had. And it was somehow even more intimate. This felt like it was about her and not just getting off.

And that was a heady feeling. After a while, a hand slipped under his shirt but she just held it there, not demanding or even wanting anything more, just wanting the contact as she kept kissing him.

Honestly, after having amazing sex with Darcy and Lydia, Stiles was more than content to just kiss and hold Malia for a while. Sure, he was a little hard from having a half naked girl in his arms, but it wasn't a persistent ache that he couldn't tolerate.

He let his hand drift over her back, occasionally sliding up to tangle in her hair, but his movements were easy, almost lazy.

Malia was quickly learning that it was contact and affection she was craving, not necessarily sex. As she relaxed into what they were doing, she purred softly against his lips before moving his hand softly to her breast. It wasn't that she was trying to move things towards sex, she just wanted him to touch her there. She was aching for it.

Stiles groaned softly when she moved his hand to her breast. The soft, pillow-y flesh felt amazing, even with her bra still on. Instinct had him caressing it gently, even though he was still determined not to sleep with her tonight.

And that? That felt amazing. And was all that Malia really wanted right now. Stiles had had good sex recently, but so had Malia, so she wasn't desperate for more either. And she was starting to understand how nice this could be just to kiss and touch.

This was really, really nice.
