Pepper looked up and smiled when she heard her name. She was near a couple of comfy chairs and already had Chayse's blanket and toys spread out on the floor so that she could be hands free for a few minutes while teaching Phryne the basic ins and outs of the devices they used for communication.
Placing Chayse on the floor and making sure she had toys within reach, Pepper waved her over so that the new young woman would know that she'd found the right person. "Phryne, I assume." She said, her smile widening. "I snagged us some chairs so we can be comfortable while we talk. This is my daughter, Chayse. She's almost 7 months old."
