She couldn't help the blush that colored her cheeks at his compliment. That he'd sought her out meant everything, since of course it wasn't a given that the children would want to have a relationship with their parents once they returned from Arva's temple. Ella was very, very happy that he at least was interested in knowing her.
"It's a good name," she agreed. "And a wonderful way to remember your father." Ella smiled fondly as she recalled the time she'd spent with Isaac. "I arrived in a snow storm and he was the first person I met on the island. Isaac made sure I was quite comfortable, and he was very good to me." He'd still chosen to return home, but Ella could never be angry about that. Just because she was much happier here didn't mean everyone was.
