Ella was happy to see Pepper joking around a little bit, and she was more than happy to teach the older woman some simple recipes if she wanted. Although, between her and Phil, and a few others, there was usually always someone cooking in the kitchen. The hunters kept them well stocked with various kinds of protein, so it was just the spices that they had to make do with minimal supplies.
"She did. It's been...almost eight bonfires?" Ella sounded as unsure as she felt. "I'm honestly not certain. The days here all blend together, but it feels as though it was just last week that I was giving him to Arva. Now, I am through my first trimester with Colin and I just hope that my son wishes to get to know me." She wasn't worried about him feeling resentful that she'd given him to Arva, especially since she and Colin planned to give this child to Arva as well. "I just worry that perhaps I've seen him and simply not realized it? Would that even be possible?" Would she not recognize her smile on his face, or Isaac's kind eyes? Or perhaps it was the other way around.
