Pepper had Chayse balanced on her hip, who was yelling periodically having found her voice as well as her ability to roll over. This seemed to bring the little girl so much joy because every time a sound came out of her little mouth, she would smile. Pepper thought she was silly, but she was biased.
In her other hand, was a small sack of diapers and a couple of blankets that had needed to be washed and had just come out of the dryer and she was on her way home to fold and put them all away. Except her nose was telling her otherwise that something was going on and was making her stomach rumble even though it'd not been long since she'd last eaten.
"Let's go find out what's going on." She said to Chayse and entered the kitchen. "Something smells divine."
