"Well, welcome to the island, then," Cisco said with a kind smile. "I didn't catch your name. I'm sure you gave it, but...if you did, I missed it because I couldn't understand you, sorry about that," he added.
With a small facial shrug, Cisco reflexively looked down at the device on his wrist. "I think across the whole island, actually," he told her. He nodded back toward his shelter hiding just behind the brush. "Here, follow me. Don't mind the mess, I'm in the middle of building, but my shirt's back there, so you can sit on that so you don't get all muddy. I'll show you how to use it."
Cisco gave her another small smile and started slowly back toward the shelter, letting her decide whether she felt comfortable following him and if she seemed to hesitate, then he'd just teach her where they were standing. "And then once I show you, if you want, I'll take you back to the camp where the rest of us are."
