"It is," he replied, but Cassian was looking at her for a beat too long before looking at their surroundings. The air was cleaner, the water clear, and there were birds flying about. That was far different from anything else that had come their way. He didn't mind it, but it definitely made him cautious. Was there something else coming their way? Had they been tricked somehow? Would war follow them?
At her question, he looked around and pointed toward a path not too far from where they were. "That path will likely lead us to where we are meant to go." Cassian stood and offered her his hand. "Hopefully it will not be too long a walk, and there will be food." His stomach rumbled loudly in agreement.
