WHO: Mary Crawley and Achilles Held WHAT: A walk in the woods WHEN: Sunday, January 15th WARNINGS: None/TBD STATUS: Closed | Incomplete
Mary had fully regained her strength, and after going to the bonfire the previous night, felt comfortable enough to go back out among the living. She had work to do, things to catch up on. Tiberius wasn't completely out of her mind, not after taking care of him for a week. Truthfully, he would never be out of her mind. But she finally felt rested for the first time since she had given birth. At least she wasn't being woken up every four hours now.
After visiting the barn to clean and feed her horse (and promising her that she would finally get another chance to ride her in a few days time), Mary set out with a basket to collect some more ingredients for her tea. She had cultivated a few tea plants behind her shelter and decided that she would soon have to try cultivating the tea ingredients as well. The herbs should be easy. The lemons less so. Fortunately there were many lemon trees on the island, so she didn't feel as if she needed to have her own personal tree.
Today she was on the hunt for mint, which she knew grew in the woods. There were a few areas where she knew she was likely to find it, so she pushed her way through the trees until she found a spot with fresh mint. As she was leaning down picking the herbs, a rustling sound in front of her made her glance up. It was Achilles. Mary put the mint in her basket and stood up straight.
"Good morning, Achilles." It took a lot for her not to call him Mr. Held, but did so because she knew that he preferred it. She wasn't used to being so informal with a man she didn't know well, even one that she had challenged to get her into his bed.
