"Well, as I'm sure you know, I'm getting by just fine with very little," Peggy said, referring to her tiny hut and hammock, which at the moment was still suiting her just fine. It was nice to be able to visit places such as Peter's shelter here, or the community center, as she needed to. "But you're right. I think it's in our very nature to want more than what we have, and here is no exception." She sipped her drink and thought again for a moment.
"And what about you?" she asked, turning the attention away from her own private concerns, concerns that she would simply have to push aside, she imagined. "How are you faring here? What's next on Peter's plate?" Her lips quirked a bit at the corners.
