Peter nodded, watching her a moment, grinning as she moved through the conversation. She was thoughtful, intelligent, careful yet not aggressively political, she was real while also polite and he respected that. He just nodded, slowly, listening, then took a sip before shrugging.
"We've got the society built, really. Yet, we still have the mentality that we need more, I think. We keep wanting bigger buildings, more comforts, if we're honest we have shelter, some electricity, some running water and a medical center. What more do we really need? We have far more than some of our ancestors had, and they survived quite happily."
He then lifted his glass again to drink and smiled brightly, "I'm glad it's being worked out for you. Or at least is getting there. We all have things we need to work through, I just want to make sure you were getting through it fine."
