"It's too easy to do, isn't it? One would think that here, where we don't have as many worries as back home, at least not at the outset, we wouldn't fall into those routines." She licked her lips again and moved her thumb against the rim of her glass. "Yet we are here to form a society, are we not? To populate the island? There must always be some manner of routine and work. Not everything can be so casual as to read and swim all the time."
She leveled her gaze at him for a long moment before answering, then she nodded. "Yes, I think that everything is settled," Peggy admitted. "Sometimes we have to work through things to get to the other side, don't you think?"
