Pepper shifted the baby from one hip to the other as she came out of the community center after spending a couple of hours washing diapers and baby clothes so she could restock her shelter with the necessities for taking care of her daughter. The afternoon sun momentarily blinded her and she reached up and shielded her eyes from the light. The sudden shade gave her her sight back and she spied the back of a familiar figure.
"Stark." She called out. "You've been avoiding me."
