It was hard not to smile at the scene in front of her. Pepper looked so happy and the baby beside her looked content and well loved. Both of which were true. Natasha couldn't help but be amazed that in just a few months that would be her. "Well she certainly looks pleased with herself," Natasha laughed and sat down on the bed at Pepper's feet, lying on her side and propping her head on her hands so she could see them both. "either she just ate or she just pooped and I don't smell poop so that's good." If she had smelled poop, she probably would have already been out the door, judging her reaction to the goats this morning.
"It's funny how it seems like I don't get to see you much anymore," she said. "babies really keep you busy, I guess. Which isn't a bad thing." Natasha was trying to figure out how to tell Pepper without just blurting it out and finally decided how. "At least when this one's born, I can come hang out with you and you can tell me all the things I don't have a damn clue about."
