All he could think was if Sophie was here, what would he want someone to tell her? His baby sister might as well have been his child, for all that their mother and his stepdad bothered to parent her. If Soph was here and she was afraid of taking that step, he'd want someone to tell her that she didn't have to rush just because everyone else was and that she should make that decision on her terms in her time. So, that was what he told Sydney. It seemed like the right thing to do.
