Cam returned her smile and nodded, taking that as her invitation for him to join her. "That's me, and hey, no problem. I could use the break from all the heavy lifting I've been doing to keep from feeling like a totally useless waste of space here so far," he laughed, approaching and lowering himself to sit down on the ground beside her.
"These people all seem to know all this stuff about building shelters and hunting and all this stuff I never gave a shit about until suddenly now I don't know it and I should," he said with a sigh. "So I'm doing what I can. This seemed like a productive way to take a break, as opposed to just sitting on my ass wasting time while resting. I like this idea," he went on. "I think it's important to have all that information compiled. ...you think this thing has like a Google Drive app or something so we can make a spreadsheet?"
That seemed like the easiest course of action to Cam, anyway. He felt kind of bad about the fact that he probably reeked of sweat by this point in the day and he tried to make sure he wasn't sitting and didn't lean too close to her, because of it.
