Mary laughed slightly. "I must say, I alternate between wishing someone I knew from home was here and being thrilled that I know no one. I've made friends now though, so I suppose that has helped." She gave Peggy a smile. "Anyway, I ought to ride while I still can. Soon enough I won't be able to ride her for a while."
Mary put one of her feet in the stirrups and pulled herself up onto the horse's back. Sadly, she didn't think it was a terribly graceful move. "I always love catching up with you, Peggy."
