Peggy had been back from her adventure with Peter for a few days, though she wasn't through with exploring. She liked the time she was able to spend relatively alone in paradise, and she was returning to her shelter from a swim out along the reef just off shore. She ran her fingers through her wet, tangled hair as she walked, glancing back over her shoulder, sad to be leaving the beach. But she had some things she needed to take care of.
Halfway up the path and spotted Mary coming toward her. She was riding a horse, a beautiful creature. Peggy smiled up at Mary. "Well, look at that," she said. "I didn't know anyone had a horse here. He's gorgeous."
