"I guess I just assumed we'd all had the same experience, but evidently not. Maybe we all had different ones," Ray pondered aloud, securing his knot and working to double its strength by repeating it before he'd cut the cord and move to the next section.
Ray's eyebrows lifted slightly at her filler word and he stepped back to grab another one of the palms. "That one's set, sorry. Didn't mean to get up in your personal space, but I couldn't reach it. ...and actually, I didn't think of either of those things, but those are really good points of concern..." Ray said, looking slightly troubled as he held the branch out to her and indicated where he wanted her to hold it up. "I wonder whether they've thought it out and just have faith or don't care, or if they haven't thought about it at all..."
