I'd like to hear both of yours, as well, then. I'm curious what parallels we might have and what things might be different, for sure.
There are a handful of people from my town that think they know what pack culture is like where we come from, but it was different when I was a kid. It was different when my mother was alive; when she was the Alpha the other Alphas all came to for advice. Our packs were all very cohesive back then. We had our territories and we largely stuck to them, but the Alphas from all over the area used to come around to consult with my mom and all of them used to protect their towns' humans from the less savory supernatural types.
It hasn't been like that for a long time. Where I come from, men traditionally don't do as well with the Alpha spark as the women do. Things get more chaotic. More people die. Beacon Hills lost a lot when it lost my mother. But I'm all for talking about the way things were before she died. I'd like to compare notes.
