Wow. I had no idea the island was going to be like this. I mean, I know I signed up for it, obviously I did, but I didn't know it'd be this beautiful.

What? I'm a Minnesota farm kid. Let me be amazed, okay?

So, yeah, I'm Adam and I'm apparently very easily amazed.

Welcome to the island. I'm Steve. This'll be a lot different from Minnesota, but probably not as different as a farm in some parts.

Because as much as I'm here for what I'm supposed to be here for, I'm pretty sure Arva won't mind if I enjoy the whole avoiding death thing, too.

Avoiding death is a pretty good reason to be here. You injured or anything? We've got a med center that'll fix you up if you are.
