It's cold in your shelter because it's not build to withstand the cold. The walls are thin and there isn't a real fireplace. In the community center there is a fireplace and the walls are thicker. All the people will also keep it warmer.
My cabin is also warm. I think the community center is the best place for now because then everybody can look after each other and we mostly go there for meals anyway. But if you get tired and need a quieter place to rest you can come to our cabin too. In fact, if you want, you and Scott could move into the second bedroom for a while, you could.
