Pepper wants to have a baby. Steve's name came up and I endorsed that, recommended him over her throwing the invitation open to fucking anyone. Literally. She said she'd talk to him herself, but she asked me to say something to him. But apparently, friends like Pepper and I aren't supposed to talk to each other. I should recommend YOU to Pepper instead of him ~~FUCK NO!~~ and he was an absolute asshole about the whole thing.

Okay.

First, I would be uncomfortable with the notion of having a child with Pepper because of my friendship with Tony. I can completely understand if Steve feels the same.

Second, I would have also been uncomfortable if Pepper or anyone else talked to me about my choice to have a child with you. So I can also understand why he might have been put off by that.

However, none of that excuses him from treating you poorly.
