[An hour and forty-five minutes after the original texts.] Cathy? You were supposed to be here 45 minutes ago. Is everything okay?
[Two hours later.] If you don't respond to this, I'm calling you. Maybe your texts aren't working?
[Two hours, fifteen minutes after texting, the first voicemail.] "Cathy, it's Sarah. You haven't answered any of my texts, I'm getting a little worried. Call me back when you get this."
[Two hours, thirty minutes] "Cathy, Sarah again." A worried sigh. "Even if you were stuck in traffic, there's no way it would take this long. Please call me back."
[Three hours later.] "Me again. Okay, maybe I'm overreacting, but you're not answering texts, your cell or your apartment line. If you don't call me back in the next fifteen minutes, I'm calling Lindsey."
After a lengthy deliberation with several receptionists and secretaries, Sarah is put through to Lindsey's office, voice clearly tense, maybe a little panicky.
