As spacious as the office was, Lindsey had to get out. Much of his time had been spent over paperwork, board meetings, and assorted little tasks that served to annoy rather than further his pursuits. So while eyes had been averted, he'd slipped out via the elevator and gone out into the rain. He didn't give a damn as the rain drenched him, breathing a sigh of relief.
Still a country boy, he needed as wide open a space as he could get from time to time. But it didn't take long for his attention to be drawn away from the fleeting thought of Oklahoma as a scream rang out. Curiosity got the better of him and instead of walking away as many of the saner citizens of LA tended to do, he went towards the source.
Coming around the corner, he was greeted by the sight of a rapidly aging man kneeling before a young woman. A small smirk appeared and he walked nonchalantly towards her, watching the progress. "Impressive. A rare talent even, in a city obsessed with youth."
