The kittens and puppies she could live without, and somehow she figured she managed to survive without being in mourning. She only saved them from certain situations anyway. When he started talking about the Old Lady like it actually happened, Buffy just looked at him blankly, she'd mostly been kidding about the old lady thing, it went along with little furry animals. "Wait, there was actually an old la-" she was cut off by another kiss, and the subject was pushed out of her mind. Old ladies had evil nasty tendencies anyway.
"I think I'll manage." Her thought process of Spike's trip down Hero Lane evaporating from her mind. Her arms slid their way up this body to wrap around his neck as she enjoyed the feel of his lips against hers, oh how close he was and how he made her feel just by being there. "Do you plan on standing in my doorway all night?" she asked, moving her lips back for just a moment to half whisper the question, before going back for another kiss.
Pushing herself forward, she used enough force to try him and back him up into the room, a slight smirk on her face. She'd really been hanging around him for too long, his expressions were wearing off on her. Her focus was entirely him. He was here, now. He didn't make things more complicated, and for once she wasn't going to either. Yes, Buffy wanted him. She had for years, and he come over when she wanted him to. After that memory wipe she just wanted to see the real Spike, and thank god he was here.
