She wasn't much for public displays, even if the doorway of her room wasn't that 'public.' Still, she enjoyed her privacy, she was easily embarrassed at times, though enough shocks over the years had dulled that down a little. She had a feeling that Spike really wouldn't care either way if she kept them standing there. But that just wasn't going to happen. The rare moments of sanity she got in her life was not something she was going to put on display for the hotel.
Somehow, even by just the slightest touch, he managed to make her feel good about herself. So even though she had no desire to really move, Buffy did pull back, just a little, enough to pull him back into the room with her, and shut the door behind her with her foot.
Her face was just inches away as she looked up at him with a smile. "I don't think I've ever wanted to hit someone so badly before." or at least she hadn't in quite some time. "Don't ever do that again." Otherwise she would be hitting him. It had just been some completely wrong. He might be the biggest asshole in the world at times, but maybe that was part of what she liked about him.
Another kiss, pressing her lips ever so gently to his, the briefest of touches. "Welcome back." she muttered, and don't go anywhere again. Only a few months ago Buffy had never really expected to see Spike in her lifetime again. Now that they were both here, once again in the same town and he wasn't a pile of ashes, she couldn't really picture herself here without him close by.
