She had started to wonder if they were ever going to find a way to bring people back to the way they were. Two weeks of nothing, even after looking at some of the best textbooks, her confidence in them was started to fade. Faith was off playing susie homemaker, Sarah was an actress, Kendra was a normal teenage girl, and she had this unbelievable desire to punch Spike in the face, so she had redirected that annoyance to recording and documenting all the boy scout/over the top things he had done. She would reveal that collection later.
So after stepping out of the shower she was more than thrilled to find that suddenly the bored were spammed with comments on posts about people remembering. Whatever had been done, probably something by the powers themselves, it had worked. People were back, and right off the bat, Kennedy wanted to kiss her. Whatever, she'd take it.
Then there was Spike. She'd been so very, very tempted to just harass the hell out of him for being the hero of kittens and puppies. But that could come later when she felt like it. She had told him if he'd been there now, she'd probably kiss him, and she probably would. Since being here she'd gravitating toward where ever he was if she didn't have something to do. It free nights might have been limited, but tended to find him when she had them. Even if he did remember her through the amnesia, he really mostly had been gone. Now that he was back, she just wanted him here.
She was, in fact, decent. He hair was still wet, but she'd shoved on a pair of jeans and shirt, only stopping briefly to see if they coordinated. At the knock on the door, she was to her feet and opening it in a few seconds. There was no doubt it was him, you could even tell by the way he looked and held himself that he was back to being normal. And thank god for that.
"Hey." she said quickly, before stepping forward and doing exactly what she had said she wanted to do. Placing one hand on his shoulder to guide him down closer to her height- she was still a midget- Buffy leaned in an kissed him. She had no idea how he'd react, she didn't really care, she was going to savor the brief moment, and his non-boy scout attitude.
