Jack gave a sheepish glance in return but what else could he say really? He made a mistake and he knew it. A tiny impish smile as he nodded. "Believe me, I don't ever plan on doing anything like that again. I wasn't thinking." He admitted as he decided to go a little slower on the beer and sipped rather than binged. "I don't know where my head was at when that seemed like a good idea. I was all over the place really." He sighed and stretched his arm, leaning his back against the counter.
"Me?" Jack thought on it for a minute and wonder if he really knew what it was. "I think.." He chewed at his lower lip. He didn't have a set answer. He knew the feeling of it. But the words to describe it were lost on him. "I'm not sure I know.." He trailed off and toyed with his glass. "I...thought I did. " Fingertips toying with the edge of his glass he looked down at the ice melting inside.
"It's complicated." He stated quietly as he looked up at him. "I try that..and then it's like everything turns backwards."
