Jack winced and shook his head with a sheepish grin that sobered a few seconds later. "'Fraid not." An almost apologetic look crept into his face. He was very much with the serious face when he admitted his crime spree and looked toward his hands that rested on the bar for a moment. "I know. Old habits die hard I guess." He gave a half hearted smirk. "That was..after Charlie. I wasn't thinking straight. She was a red ranger like me. I guess it tripped me out more than I thought until Lana caught me. She recognized my power description in the article right away, but put out the media fire pretty quick. I wasn't really trying that hard to hide at that point.." He'd been at rock bottom at that part of the affair.
He honestly was upset about the Kennedy bit. It was the fact that they, the Powers made him feel something for this woman and now he was confused. Finding out it was all fake hurt his head. "Not even sure I really know what love is. " He toyed with the rim on his half empty glass as he looked up at Sam and listened mostly. Shaking his head "It doesn't work. I can't even talk to them. Just normally without getting psyched out."
