A year ago he'd be furious with her for that. Now he just laughed, deep in his throat so it was almost a growl as he pushed into her harder.
"Don't you mention my Father's name," he retorted, though his smirk took the bite out of the words.
The next wall gave way and again, his wings shielded them as he tugged them both down on the floor, turning so she was on top of him, though his wings were wrapped around her, soft black feathers over her skin.
